Baseball Advice From Yoda

I thought I’d change things up a bit. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted a new video. Don’t worry. I’ll be back to the regular posting schedule with cool new baseball videos and advice…

With that being said, I thought I’d do something fun and new…

…by answering a question with the advice from a Jedi.

How do you overcome baseball challenges? By taking daily action.

Advice from Yoda

What does a coach who is coaching for the wrong reasons, a player who lacks purpose as a ballplayer and a baseball parent who isn’t committed say when they are called to action to overcome a baseball challenge?

I’ll try….

I’ll try to motivate my players more.

I’ll try to play with more confidence.

I’ll try to be more positive to my son.

I’ll try, I’ll try, I’ll try…

So many players try but fail to see the power in doing.

So many coaches try but overlook the opportunity that exists in sticking to a philosophy and committing to helping their players apply it, win, lose or draw.

Too many baseball parents try but forget that it’s about their kids…not them.

Take the advice of Yoda…

Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.

What are your thoughts?

Let me know what you think of this clip and how it applies to your role in baseball.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

The Power of The Scap & The Crossover Symmetry Mission w/ Duggan Moran

When is injury prevention and the reinforcement of effective and correct mechanics not at the forefront of subjects that need to be understood to become an elite athlete?

It’s especially relevant with throwing a baseball. An unnatural act that is done over and over again over the course of a baseball season.

Many thanks to Duggan Moran from Crossover Symmetry for stopping by to share his unbelievable expertise and knowledge on the biomechanics of throwing a baseball.

We were able to bring to light a few misconceptions about how and why throwing injuries happen.

Enjoy the interview!
