Acceptance- To consider circumstances, especially those that can not be changed, as satisfactory.

We are always presented with a choice to do two things when we put on a baseball uniform.

To accept.

Or to resist.

When we accept the things we can’t control such as our physical make-up, our natural talent, stats, a bad baseball coach, or an injury, we come to a place of power. We position ourselves as individuals who can take these obstacles and turn them into opportunities like increased skill-sets, a healthier body, perseverance, and confidence.

When we resist these challenges, we become unaware of all the wonderful opportunities that exists just under our noses.

We will always have this choice.

The question is…………

Are you resisting or accepting your baseball challenges?

Tell us in the comment box below!!!!

Mark, I know exactly what you mean. From my playing experiences to all the coaching experiences working with high school and travel ball players, players to youth players. Well put, but the real question is to the support group of the “accepting” and or “resisting” player. Are they doing all they can to help the player find acceptance.
